Pharmacists Advice and Support Service exists to assist pharmacists, their dependents, retired pharmacists and their dependents as well as pre-registration trainees, in whatever way best meets their needs.
It has been yet another busy year for the service. As always the generous donations made by many pharmacists every year help towards the cost of running and delivering the extended range of services now available to pharmacists through PASS
This year PASS has delivered a number of services including:
- Information and signposting to key service providers
- Face to face, telephone, and specialist counselling
- Short term financial assistance
- Funding for specialist treatment
- Pre-retirement Courses
It is critically important that we are able to continue to offer a range of services as well as financial assistance, but this is only possible with the financial support of pharmacists, so I urge you to consider a donation.
I would like to extend thanks on behalf of all the beneficiaries of the service, to everyone who already donates to the service, and would ask that you complete a gift aid form online if you have not already done so. This allows the donator to make a tax-effective donation which enables the service to claim back tax from the Inland Revenue at no cost to you.
Once again I would like to emphasise that the Pharmacists Advice and Support Service is a free and confidential service here to support pharmacists/former pharmacists and their loved ones in times of need. The 24 hour confidential helpline and online facility continues to provide a vital source of support for pharmacists seeking advice.
To use the service please contact 0800 0232327 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
