While Christmas can be a fun, joyous time, for many it can also be a season of stress. There are so many things to do and a limited time in which to do them.
Balancing priorities between home, work and our social life may leave us feeling overwhelmed, as we try to fit seasonal activities into our limited time. The commercial aspect of Christmas may also bring its own financial concerns, as we can often feel the need to spend more than at any other time of year.

Inspire, is the new name for Carecall, our provider of wellbeing solutions. They deliver mental health and wellbeing support to some of the UK and Ireland’s leading private, public and third sector organisations. There are a number of resources available, one of which is counselling.
How can I access the counselling?
Calling the helpline number provides access to professional counsellors able to support any problem you may have. If you need support beyond the phone call, with further discussion on your concern, they can then provide more in-depth support with a designated counsellor.
What is counselling?
Counselling is a process that allows you to work through issues that may be causing you distress or confusion with a person who is professionally qualified to help you. Inspire counsellors are very experienced, compassionate and non-judgemental in their approach. Their job is to listen, understand and help you to find solutions to your problems. Being able to talk to someone who will help you to recognise your strengths and capabilities and who will give you practical, concrete support to deal with issues, can be just the help you need to get through a crisis. Counselling takes place in many regional venues and is also now avaialble in the new Resilience Centre based in Lombard Street, Belfast.
Confidentiality – No one will know that you are using the Inspire Counselling Service
Inspire counselling is highly confidential and carried out within strict boundaries. PASS is provided with general statistical information about the level of service use, but no individual can be identified from this information.
*Who can access Inspire?
Pharmacists and pre-registration trainees of the PSNI, as well as former pharmacists, surviving spouses/civil partners and their dependants can access Inspire as a service funded by PASS.
